Our company has combined the interactive illustrations of coloring books with the storytelling capabilities of comic books to create a product that will allow anybody with no artistic talent to tell their stories through a vibrant science fiction world. History of the Product
In high school the founder and creator, Heraclio Kiki Aguilar, enlisted in the Army. Not long after he arrived in South Korea 9/11 occurred changing his life forever. After three years of dedicated work toward the Iraq war, including 18 months in the battlefields, he returned to real life ... with little help.
Fast forward decades later Mr. Aguilar decided to move to Los Angeles where there are more veteran services available where he found residence in the Hollywood Veteran Center. He attended all the courses the facility had to offer but he needed something else, it was then he began to work on creating The TOI Soldier Project as a way to share some of the unbelievable things he has lived through. Initially the product was a comic book so Mr. Aguilar altered the files to create the product available today, a platform to tell other stories.
Today, if you order, you will receive an email with an attached PDF that can be printed or altered in various digital platforms like Photoshop and others, once separated. There are 12 different volumes and 3 Issues that can be interlaced in different ways in order to be personalized to the customers imagination. In the future we hope to; diversify our products to reach more individuals, create an interactive app, study our products impact on mental health and more. Every dream must start somewhere and Coloring Comics is at the launching point, with really big dreams.
What are Coloring Comics?
It is a combination of the interactive illustrations of coloring books with the storytelling capability of comic books to make a product that lays the foundation that others can use in a range of imaginative and creative ways. Our introductory series, The TOI Soldier Project, is set in a science fictional world as the original cast begins to create their own spaces. The main characters are a triad of alien life forms and one human struggling to understand his new environment but our human needs an extra guide to get him through this universe ... that's where you come in. With our black and white illustrations and word bubbles we allow each customer to create their own problems for our human to overcome, the story can rage from dramatic to comedic depending on your mood. So pick up an issue, any issue, to see for yourself how important your stories really are.

How it Works!
After ordered you will receive an email with your 6 page issue filled with multiple panels of a science fiction universe set in outer space designed to cleverly tell your stories without disclosing personal identities. Once the PDF is obtained the document can be opened with a wide range of software and applications to be either separated or printed to be used physically as many times as you like. For those that choose to separate your images save them as JPEGs then you can use them in any photo altering program or app that allows the upload.
